Learning new things every day...

So, Thursday night while eating dinner he just decided he would show off a new skill and started CLAPPING!! So incredibly adorable!  It was amazing how proud this Momma's heart was from such a simple thing! I just couldn't believe it...he had never even tried to do it before.  Over the weekend he continued to practice this new skill and has learned another new word: "Bird" and "Birdie" - He LOVES watching the birds and squirrels out his bedroom window.  His vocabulary is growing like crazy...so far these are the words he says:
Dada, Mama, Light, Hot, Bye-Bye, Dog, Doggie, Oscar (name of the dog where I nanny), Ouchy, More, Ba-Ba, Bird, Birdie, Moo, Book (which comes out with a t sound at the end).  I may have missed some, but these are words that he uses on a daily basis, in the midst of all the other sounds and babbles! He knows who elmo is and when you start to sing the elmo theme song, he gets all excited! :o)  I LOVE my little man so much...can't even describe how much he just melts my heart!
