Hello everyone! I figured, my sister does such an amazing job at keeping people up to date on her blogspot and she has, soon to be, 5 kids... I should definitely be able to keep you all updated as well. Matthew and I are doing well. It has been a very busy few months. Matt is on his Spring Break right now until March 31. He doesn't quite know what to do with himself! :) He only has one more quarter left and then he will be done with his core classes. We can't believe that two years of Master's is almost completed! God is good! He has taught us both so much in these past two years.
I was currently switched over to a different department at my job, temporarily. I am, for now, an Administrative Assistant to the Director of Education, Steve D. All that means is that I get to work with my husbands cohort for his Master's program, because it is through the same place that I have been working for since we left Shelter Care. I was offered the position, but I recently turned it down and decided to stay at the Front Desk where I was originally working. I love working at the front desk and I can't wait to go back to that position. Please pray that they would be able to find someone else for the Administrative Assistant position soon. They interviewed someone on Thursday (March 20) and it sounded pretty positive, but who knows. I am aslo co-leading a class at my church called "Life Skills". The class is similar to a counseling group, but we go through 26 weeks of curriculum discussing trauma, abuse, forgiveness, conflict resolution, anger, relationships, family background, etc., all for the goal of helping people work through those thoughts and emotions that keep them captive to the past and hinder people from moving forward and taking hold of God's truth. Matt and I have both been taking the class for the past two years and will be going out to Colorado this July/August to receive the training so we can teach it this fall. I am so excited! God has used this class in so many ways to make me more healthy emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. I can't wait to begin teaching it so that others can also begin to have victory in different areas of their lives and take hold of God's truth instead of believing the lies that Satan has fed them.
Matt and I are looking forward to meeting our new little niece, Aeva! God is so amazing! It's been so awesome to watch God work in Tyson and Connie's lives and how he brought all the little pieces together that has brought them to this point of actually going out to Oregon to get her! :) We are also excited for our other new addition to the family, Thomas & Stephs little guy who will be here sometime in June! Praise God for little children...they bring such joy! NO, Matt and I are not pregnant yet! We are waiting a little while longer to start our family. Matt needs to finish school and get a job and then we can start thinking about it! :) I'm starting to get impatient, but I know God has a plan and will bring little Matty-watty's or Charrie-berry's along in His timing! :) Somtimes I have to remind myself of that fact.
We miss all of you and love you!

My adorable little niece, Leah Grace! She is about 5 1/2 months old now and growing like a little flower! She's starting to laugh and roll over and the cute little baby talk.

She is also teething like crazy lately and loves to chew on everything! :)

The Wacky Tacky party at our church for the kids! These are two of our friends, Joel and his wife, Monica. They are hilarious...as you can see! You could either dress up as a pirate or just wacky...as you will see me below! :)

My friends Whitney and Atanya. They're crazy!

My wacky tacky outfit and friends! :)

You like my outfit? A little tacky? My friend Michelle had the whole Jack Sparrow costume!

Monica & I showing off our awesome tackiness!

The huge snow storm we had at the beginning of March! YUCK! This is behind our appartment and Matt was out there trying to clean off the car! Needless to say we got snowed in and had my Mom & Dad stay with us one night. Fun times!

Sometimes snow can be beautiful! This is our front stairs to our appartment complex.

My ruggedly-handsome-frozen husband!
Have a wonderful Easter celebrating what our loving heavenly Father did in sending His Son to die on a cross for each one of our sins so we could have new life. I heard a beautiful song today by Brad Paisley and Sara Evans called "New Again". The video and lyrics are an incredible depiction of what Christ did on the cross. Check out the video on Youtube!
