TODAY WAS A FUN DAY!!
WHY? You might ask...well 3 reasons...
1) I am 21 weeks today and feeling pregnant, but energetic! My belly is definitely growing! Our little man is up to 10 1/2 inches and 3/4 lb.
(And yes, Connie B., we are keeping the name secret as of right now...)
I am getting SUPER excited to meet this little man!
2) Matt found a place that will plain all the wood from the tree HE cut down in our yard last year for 10 cents a linear foot! So, he brought the wood in today and it will only cost us $35 for ALL the wood we had piled in our breezeway! WOOHOO!
2) With that, he started looking for plans for a convertible crib (crib-toddler bed-full-size bed) on ebay and he ordered the plans for this sleighbed crib that Matt and his dad will make!!
I LOVE IT!!!
3) THEN....I have been searching and searching for a crib bedding set. All centered on this one piece...
a sweet gift from our friends Mitch & Susan.
The day we found out we were having a BOY they brought us this adorable piggy bank, and Matt and I both thought it was awesome!!
So, I have been trying to find something that will match the smokey blue walls, but with primary colors, and with cars and trucks on it.
You wouldn't think that would be a hard task...BUT...it has been!
So FINALLY today, I found this one!!!

It has LOTS of different colors that we can accent with - RED, GREEN, BLUE, ORANGE, BROWN!!

Super bummed! When we first read this post, Tyler commented...but it's been a bit so I don't remember what anymore. My tip for you would be: don't wait to buy the bedding! Mine went on 'back order' and after waiting for 2 months, we just decided to cancel the order and go with our $10 garage sale bargain :) Seriously though - love the cars! I'm not an animal person much myself for all this baby stuff :) And super impressive for Matt to build the crib! You'll have to show us progress pics on that! Can't wait for the updated belly pic. Love you guys.
